Aesthetic Pedicure – Complete Pododisc & Combi Technique This seminar is a complete introduction to modern aesthetic pedicure for everyday salon work, combining Pododisc foot care with precise Combi Pedicure techniques for nails and cuticles. The focus is not on perfect model feet. You will learn how to approach real clients, real feet and the everyday challenges that appear in professional salon work. We start with the essential theory: how to prepare your workplace, which materials and tools you need, how to organise your working process and, most importantly, how to protect yourself and your client through correct hygiene, disinfection, personal protective equipment and safe working procedures. You will learn how to analyse the feet, skin and nails before starting the service and how to recognise different conditions and common problems. An important part of the seminar is understanding the difference between what belongs within the scope of an aesthetic pedicure and what does not. We discuss clear GO and NO-GO situations — when you can safely perform or adapt an aesthetic pedicure and when the client should instead be referred to a podologist, dermatologist or medical professional. Practical part Step by step, you will learn the complete salon procedure, including preparation of the feet and nails, correct nail shortening and shaping, detailed Combi Pedicure and cuticle work, safe use of different bits, Pododisc technique, removal and smoothing of callused and rough skin, work on more demanding areas and the correct finishing of the feet. You will learn how to choose the appropriate disc size and abrasive grit according to the condition of the skin and how to adapt your technique instead of following the same procedure on every client. We also cover the preparation of the natural nail and professional application of long-lasting colour, giving you a complete aesthetic pedicure service from the first assessment to the final result. Theory & Course Material The seminar includes comprehensive theoretical learning material that you can continue using as a reference after completing the training. The theory covers the necessary equipment and materials, hygiene and personal protection, basic anatomy of the nail and skin, common nail and foot conditions, contraindications, indications for aesthetic work, GO and NO-GO situations, correct use of Pododisc and abrasives, salon working procedures and practical recommendations. Special attention is given to recognising changes such as fungal infections, bacterial infections, inflammation, problematic or ingrown nails, warts and other conditions where aesthetic treatment may need to be modified, postponed or refused.
